What: Eighth Packers Family Night, Presented by Fox 11

When/Where:
  • Sunday, Aug. 3, Lambeau Field.
  • Evening activities get underway in the stadium at 5:30 p.m., followed by on-field football drills at 6:30 and the scrimmage at approximately 7:30.
Features/Activities:
  • On-field football drills and an intra-squad scrimmage between the Packers' offense and defense.
  • Sponsors: Fox 11 is the presenting sponsor. Other sponsors include Copp's-Pick 'n Save and Wendy's Wonderful Kids.
  • Copps-Pick 'N Save Family Night Picnic: In Lambeau Field's east-side parking lot, the picnic is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will serve food items priced at $1, including corn on the cob, Johnsonville Brats, Nicolet Water and Kemps Popsicles. Proceeds will go the Roundy's Foundation (Roundy's is the parent company of Copps and Pick 'N Save) to support non-profit organizations working in the areas of hunger relief, families in crisis (intervention and prevention of neglect and abuse) and literacy.
  • Jersey-Off-Our-Backs Promotion: Packers once again be giving away Family Night used jerseys to lucky fans in attendance.
  • Fireworks: The evening will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display.
  • Other on-field activities include Pop Warner football, T-shirt launcher, cheerleader performance and Oneida Nation dance performance.
  • More details will be announced in coming weeks.
Tickets:
  • Tickets are priced again at $8 and available through Ticketmaster.
  • A limit of eight tickets per purchase will be in place for an initial sales period to allow more fans to have the chance to make a transaction.
  • Over the phone, tickets can be purchased by calling 920/494-1414 in Green Bay, 920/731-5000 in Appleton, 608/789-4545 in La Crosse, 608/255-4646 in Madison, and 414/276-4545 in Milwaukee. The toll-free Ticketmaster Express number, 866/448-7849, also can be used. It is a self-service information line utilizing an automated system. A TDD (Telecommunications Device for the Deaf) number also is available at 877/474-4TDD.
  • On the Internet, tickets can be purchased by clicking here.
  • In-person sales will be conducted at a number of locations, including the Packers' ticket office at Lambeau Field (open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday). Ticketmaster retail locations across the state include Boston Store locations in Brookfield, Glendale, Greendale, Janesville, Madison, Milwaukee, Racine and Wauwatosa. Other in-person locations are Younker's in Green Bay, Macy's in Appleton and the Milwaukee Theatre.
Parking:
  • Parking for the event will be $5, with 100 percent of the net proceeds to be donated to the Packers' 'Family Night' partner, the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, to support its Wendy's Wonderful Kids foster care adoption program in Wisconsin. Volunteers for the group also will be in the parking lot and at the gates to share information about the program with fans and accept monetary donations for the foundation.
  • Due to the potentially large number of people attending, parking will be limited. Please plan to arrive early.
Television:
  • For fans not attending the event, it will be televised in Green Bay on WLUK-TV FOX 11, as well as on WITI-TV in Milwaukee, WMSN-TV in Madison, WFXS-TV in Wausau and WLAX-TV in La Crosse. Hosted by Drew Smith and other members of the Fox 11 sports and news staffs, the live broadcast will start at 6:30 p.m.
  • Nationally, Family Night will be aired on NFL Network.
Day's Timeline:
  • 11 a.m. - Parking lot opens
  • 5:30 p.m. - Lambeau Field gates open. In-stadium activities begin with 2007 highlights film on TundraVision. Other activities will follow, including local Pop Warner teams playing on the field, a T-shirt launcher and cheerleader performance.
  • 6:30 p.m. - Packers begin football drills. Oneida Nation dance performance.
  • 7:30 p.m. - Packers introduced, scrimmage begins.
  • Post-scrimmage - Lambeau Field fireworks display, Family Night ends.
